Google Intelligence is a feature inside Google Analytics, listed as the second link on the left margin, that automatically applies statistical analysis to your site data. It flags anomalies, meaning metrics that fall outside the standard deviation, across daily, weekly, and monthly time periods so you can investigate unusual changes.
Yes. Beyond the automatic alerts Google creates, you can configure custom alert types by visitor type, city, region, country, campaign, keyword, traffic source, medium, referral path, landing page, or exit page, and set thresholds such as when traffic increases or decreases by a certain percentage.
Adding a geographic term like a city name to a keyword localizes the phrase and reduces competition. For example, routers is harder to rank for nationally than Houston routers, so targeting city-specific key phrases gives a better chance of reaching the first page of search results.
