Making sure your site is mobile friendly is another must. Today, everyone performs google searches and online shopping on their smartphone, so make sure your site makes this possible for them.

You’ll also want to make sure you pick social platforms that correlate well with your products or services. For example, if you own a boutique, your product will be best on highly visual platforms like Instagram and Facebook. If you offer an educational service, you may want to use Twitter as well, as it’s a great way to provide brief information to your followers. 

Another great way to communicate with your customers is to set up an email marketing strategy. Capture customer’s emails and set up a list of subscribers that you can reach out to weekly. This is a great way to stay fresh in your customer’s minds and send them useful information.
