The first element is finding and focusing on your target audience. This means digging deep into their passions, goals, frustrations, and decision-making processes so you can speak to them in their own language, whether for your brand or your customers' brands.
Because no competitor markets on mediocre customer service, so claiming great customer service is already expected. To make it a real USP you must niche it down with specifics, such as 24-hour on-call service or a US-based phone team, and then prove it with reviews or video testimonials.
According to the hosts, core values should be based on the culture that already exists inside the company. You identify what has held the team together, expand on what you like, and trim what you do not, rather than writing aspirational values that do not reflect actual behavior.
