Ranking varies depending on the user's IP address and location, making it hard to gauge consistently. Positioning refers to where a site appears in specific result areas, such as top three organic results, local listings, or paid ads, giving marketers more control over their data.
Ask everyone publicly and accept any review that comes in, positive or negative. Never incentivize reviews with discounts or gifts, and never have multiple people write reviews from the same IP address, as that can result in all reviews being removed.
Segmenting ensures people see ads relevant to what they actually browsed. For example, if a site offers both services and products, separate lists let you show service ads to service visitors and product ads to product visitors, improving relevance and conversion rates.
Great content will get shared. Great content will get links. Great content will get social media activity. And it's that sort of content that turns prospects into customers.
