Google Trends location filtering lets you identify geographic areas with the highest demand for your products or services. For example, a search for Caribbean cruise shows that the Orlando, Daytona Beach, and Melbourne metro area has the highest search volume and an upward trend, helping you focus targeting efforts.
Newsjacking is a strategy of capitalizing on current hot stories to gain visibility. Google Trends supports it by letting you filter trending topics by specific categories or countries, so you can spot stories gaining momentum before they hit major headlines and create timely content around them.
Enter your search term in Google Trends, switch from web search to YouTube search, then check related queries and related topics sorted by top or rising. This can surface unexpected connections, such as people who search cruises also searching shipping classes, guiding your video titles and descriptions.
